1. Who Can Use SportsU
Sports University (“SportsU”) is available to athletes and other approved users who are 13 years of age or older. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement, provide accurate information, and use SportsU lawfully. You may not create an account using another person’s identity or information. Coaches and scouts must provide accurate information about their role and organization and may be subject to additional verification.
2. Accounts & Profiles
You are responsible for keeping your login information secure and for activity that occurs through your account. Depending on your account type, your profile may include information such as your name, username, profile photo, sport, position, height, school or grade information, social media handles, achievements, and videos. You control the visibility settings available for eligible profile information and videos. You may not impersonate another person, use another person’s information, or knowingly share access to your account.
3. Memberships & Billing
SportsU plans to offer recurring monthly athlete memberships after the initial beta. Standard SportsU Membership is $50 per month and includes access to one training campus plus the university-wide social and recruiting features available to the member. SportsU All-Access is $75 per month and includes access to multiple available training campuses plus the same university-wide features.
The initial Track beta class may test the Track Campus free for one week. The beta does not automatically become a paid membership. Before any paid membership begins, the applicable price, billing frequency, campus access, cancellation terms, and any other material terms will be disclosed and payment authorization will be required.
Refunds: SportsU memberships are generally non-refundable because the service is digital and requires ongoing investment in training content, coaching, technology, and platform operations. SportsU may provide a refund or credit in exceptional circumstances, including billing errors, at its discretion. Nothing in this policy limits a refund or cancellation right that cannot legally be waived.
4. Athlete Videos & Content
You remain responsible for the content you upload and must have the right to share it. By uploading content, you give SportsU permission to store, display, and use it as reasonably necessary to operate the platform and provide the features you choose to use. You control the visibility settings available for eligible content. Recruiting-visible content may be viewed by verified scouts according to those settings.
You may not upload content that is illegal, threatening, abusive, sexually explicit, infringes another person’s rights, or violates another person’s privacy. SportsU may remove content or restrict accounts when needed to enforce these Terms, protect users, or maintain platform safety.
5. Community Rules
Treat athletes, coaches, staff, and other members with respect. Do not harass, threaten, bully, scam, spam, impersonate another person, post seriously inappropriate material, share private information without permission, or intentionally disrupt the community. SportsU may remove content, restrict community access, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Members may report users or content through available reporting tools.
6. Coaching & Feedback
Members may submit one video for personalized feedback every week. The weekly cycle gives coaches time to review submissions while giving athletes a focused window to apply the feedback before submitting again. Feedback is intended for athletic development and may include observations, technique suggestions, drills, and other guidance. SportsU does not guarantee specific athletic, performance, recruiting, scholarship, or competitive results.
7. Recruiting Profiles & Scouts
Athletes may build recruiting-profile information while using SportsU. Track beta participants may receive temporary recruiting visibility during the free test. Beta participants who subscribe after the test may keep immediate recruiting access and receive OG Athlete status. Recruiting-profile access is included automatically for athlete members. Athletes control the visibility settings available for their recruiting information and eligible videos, including Private, SportsU, Verified Scouts, and Public options.
Verified scouts may view recruiting-visible athlete profiles and film through the SportsU Scout Network. SportsU does not provide scout-to-athlete messaging or direct contact tools and does not guarantee recruiting opportunities, scholarships, roster placement, or other outcomes.
8. Suspension & Termination
SportsU may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account when a user violates these Terms, community rules, or creates a safety, security, or legal concern. Users may cancel recurring memberships through the available account controls. SportsU may retain limited information after account closure when reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping purposes.
9. Results & Disclaimers
SportsU is designed to help athletes train, learn, stay accountable, and receive coaching feedback. Individual results vary. SportsU does not guarantee specific athletic improvement, team placement, recruiting opportunity, scholarship, college admission, or other outcome. Coaching feedback is based on the information and videos available to the coach at the time of review.
10. General Terms
SportsU and its branding, software, original training materials, and other original content are owned by Sports University or its licensors and may not be copied or commercially used without permission. You retain ownership of content you create, subject to the permission needed for SportsU to operate the services you use. SportsU may add, remove, or modify features and may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or other appropriate means. These Terms are governed by applicable law.
Important: This is SportsU’s working launch draft and should be reviewed and finalized before public launch.
